Mountains, fireplace, fondue, wine and classical music are some of the delights of Campos do Jordão. The highest city of Brazil, situated 1,628 meters above sea level, our “Brazilian Switzerland”, creates the perfect atmosphere to relax and discover the most diverse experiences. From the exuberant nature of Serra da Mantiqueira, with its magnificent parks and gardens, to the glamour of the local gastronomy and lively bars, passing by a rich cultural heritage, Campos do Jordão offers quiet and fun in equal measure.

We receive thousands of visitors every year, especially during the month of July when the city is at its peak for the International Winter Festival. If the timbered architecture with roofs that reach the ground evokes Europe, the landscape marked by pines, Araucarias and orchids reminds us that Brazil is here.

You don’t need to wait for the cold weather to visit us. Each season has its own charm.

Nature is the biggest star in the region; you can see it in all shades of green. So much that you don’t need to wait for the cold weather to come and visit us. Each season has its own charm – and there’s always something to do. Couples in love find on the tranquillity of the mountains the ideal climate to date. Adventurers get enchanted with the trails and extreme sports. Groups of friends and families have several options for leisure, shopping and cultural events.

Lovers of good food can enjoy fine restaurants, excellent wine lists and craft beers. We encourage you to try our trout and the dishes with “pinhão” (similar to chestnuts), as well as our famous fondues. Not to mention the “chocoholics” who discover here an endless number of flavours. All these attractions, added to the scenario of natural beauties, contribute to an invigorating stay.

So, take a deep breath and enjoy all the experiences available.

The final part of the trip is on unpaved road and, therefore, we recommend driving a 4×4, or hiring one of the quadricycle tours in the region. Even further is the area that leads to Pedra do Baú at 1,950m of altitude. It’s dangerous to try and climb the area without a specialized guide.
